Chassis development update
As we reported last week, SF’s new technical guy – Steve Farrell – recently enjoyed his first visit to the Elan/Panoz premises in Braselton, Georgia (US), where he had the opportunity to find out about the current state of the DP09 Superleague Formula chassis.

Chassis changes and development
Robin has headed off to Atlanta today with newly appointed technical and design assistant Stephen Farrell, an ex-pat Australian now living and domiciled in the UK (who has coincidentally been living at Leafield, Oxfordshire since long before Menard/Arrows were ever based there).

Delivery of SF cars
Elan Motorsports Technologies have released the first batch of Superleague Formula chassis to the championship’s race teams with German squad GU Racing the first to collect their new machine.

Fired Up
At last, the real engine – as you can see – is being fitted into the car! This is the engine that was on the dyno yesterday (they revved it to 11,000rpm) and the guys at MCT are expecting to fire it up in the car and the workshop tomorrow…
