Superleague Formula gets thumbs-up from Teams, Clubs and Drivers after the inaugural season
“This is most exciting Championship I ever raced. I love the the qualifaying system. I did 2 pole positions and I had to pass all the stages to the limit on to the pole! 2nd race is fantastic, with the push to pass I have made lots of overtaking, not like in other championships that you have to wait for a mistake of the other driver, and trust me, this is boring! I like to fight for the colors of a football club, specially for the Liverpool fc. When I drive the red car I feel the support of many people all around the World. This is THE BEAUTIFUL RACE!”

Liverpool FC came out on top in the new “Weekend Winner” contest when Adrian Vallés comfortably won the Super Final at the opening rounds of the 2009 Superleague Formula by Sonangol at Magny Cours in France today (28 June).

Liverpool stays in the title fight as Beijing falters in qualifying
Liverpool FC Superleague Formula driver Adrian Valles has kept the Reds in the championship hunt after scoring the pole position for the final round of the championship in Jerez, Spain today.

Spurs and Liverpool shine in Belgian Superleague Formula Races
Tottenham Hotspur scored its maiden Superleague Formula by Sonangol race victory when Craig Dolby steered the Spurs car home to a deserved opening race victory at Zolder today (19 Jul).
But it will be the London club’s English Barclays Premier League rivals, Liverpool FC, who starts their “home” races at Donington Park on 2 August leading the 6-rounds series courtesy of Adrián Vallés (SP) who extended his series lead to 24-points over United Arab Emirates club Al Ain with Spurs placed third, a further seven-points adrift.

Δύσκολο ξεκίνημα στην πίστα της Χερέθ για Κατσίμη και Ολυμπιακό
Το διήμερο του τελευταίου γύρου του Πρωταθλήματος της Superleague Formula, στην ισπανική πίστα της Χερέθ, ξεκίνησε με αρκετές δυσκολίες για τον Έλληνα πιλότο του Ολυμπιακού, Σταμάτη Κατσίμη. Στην κλήρωση που πραγματοποιήθηκε την Παρασκευή στο Δημαρχείο της Χερέθ, ο Ολυμπιακός πέρασε στον πρώτο, και δυσκολότερο, όμιλο, ο οποίος τον έφερνε αντιμέτωπο στα χρονομετρημένα με ομάδες όπως η Γκουοάν Πεκίνου, η Λίβερπουλ και η Αϊντχόβεν, οι οποίες αποτελούν και τις τρεις βασικές υποψήφιες για την κατάκτηση του Πρωταθλήματος.
